Dining Space and Kitchen Islands
In many homes there are two dining areas, one for quick breakfast or informal eating area which would accomidate table and a set of chairs which also doubles as a homework area.
Or a Kitchen Island with counter top; the other is a more formal dining room area. These dininbg areas should be located near the kitchen/food preparation site.
Many kitchens today opt for a Kitchen Island which can look both stylish and modern as well as functional.
In a formal dining room, you should have plenty of table space, chair space, access and serving space and room for any side table or storage cabinet/ hutch you may want.
