Carpet Installation
Any carpet installation project starts with removing the old carpet or other flooring, base moulding and sometimes the entrance door. The subfloor must be clean and dry and any floor boards which may be loose should be made secure prior to installing the new carpet. After finishing the sub floor preparation, tack-less strips are installed around the perimeter of the room. The next step is to lay the under pad followed by installing the carpet using a knee kicker, cut any vent openings and finally installing the base moulding.
